Dub Productions was set up in Leicester, UK, in 2006 by musician and producer Steve Gibbs. The Company provides music for theatre, installations, film/video makers and those who realise the importance of bespoke music and sound in their work. Steve learned his trade as founder member of Leicester's Bathysphere Studios where his work included compositions and sound design for Catherderals, galleries, outdoor performances, international work film and theatre as well as music for commercial release on CD & vinyl. As the Dub Productions progressed , Steve teamed up with long time collaborator Francis Binns, who brings his clasically trained skills to the company.
From headphone audio tours to surround sound mixes to film scores to performance installations, Dub Productions is a company specialised in working within the arts. We have 10 years of experience of working with a diverse range of artists, arts organisations and film makers. All of the work is carried out by Steve Gibbs & Francis Binns, both of whom are well versed in collaboration across the arts.
Dub Productions has a fully equipped professional recording studio based in Leicester as well as a mobile recording facility.
